Objective

Design a compact A5 handbook that allows new property owners within the local government area to quickly access essential online resources. The handbook needed to function seamlessly as both a digital asset and a printed component within a welcome pack.

Challenge

Ensuring reliable access to online resources and third-party websites was a key hurdle, as page URLs frequently changed. A dynamic and user-friendly solution was required to maintain accessibility without constant manual updates.

Solution

To mitigate URL inconsistencies, each listing incorporated multiple linking elements for redundancy:

• A redirecting URL, accessible via QR code (print) and interactive button (digital), which could be remotely updated via the cloud.

• A manual website URL paired with a relevant search term, enabling users to locate the correct page even if direct links changed.

This approach provided a future-proof, user-centric solution that ensured new property owners could always access the latest information effortlessly.
