Join the Movement

MovUs is a workplace travel initiative designed to make commuting smarter, simpler and more sustainable. Developed for Sunshine Coast Council employees, the program encourages active transport, public transport and carpooling for everyday commutes and work-related travel.

Through a mobile-friendly web application, employees can find carpool and bike-buddy matches, log their journeys and earn rewards for making more sustainable travel choices.

MovUs brand

Inspired by the Latin word motus, meaning movement, the MovUs identity brings together Move and Us to represent both the many ways we travel and the community moving towards a more sustainable future.

The visual identity balances a contemporary, technology-driven aesthetic with a softer, community-focused appeal. A subtle forward arrow introduces a sense of movement and progress, while the tagline “Join the Movement” reinforces the collective spirit behind the initiative.

The result is a friendly, accessible brand that makes sustainable commuting feel effortless, rewarding and connected to something bigger.
